After sitting untouched for over 23 years, this Crown was never meant to be an easy one.

We dragged it out of a yard in Captain’s Flat, got it running, and then (probably unwisely) drove it straight to the pub.

From there, it was a matter of working through what it actually needed — brakes, clutch, tyres — just enough to get it back on the road and driving properly again.

It’s not perfect. There are still things here and there. But for something that had been sitting that long… it’s a lot better than it had any right to be.

As much as we’d like to keep them all, we can’t — so this one will be heading off through CarBids for someone else to enjoy.
