During the sold-out show, mgk talked about his next rap album era.

mgk said, "I haven't been here in 8 years. That means you guys have never seen 'Tickets to My Downfall' live, 'mainstream sellout' live, 'lost americana' live. And now we're getting into this rap album era that's about to happen, and I'm not gonna be here for it yet, but that doesn't mean that I'm not dropping that sh- because I gotta see what the f- Sydney's talking about when we drop it. So, with that being said, I didn't wear this Limp Bizkit shirt for no reason."

mgk added, "Hold on one second. I don't think you understand what I'm trying to tell you. I'm coming out this era with the biggest middle finger you ever seen in your - life. And I wanna see how Sydney's about to do this sh-. With that being said, I wanna see you jump on the count of 3."

He then went on to perform an unreleased nu-metal rap song featuring Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit. mgk will release the song this month. It is likely titled "fix your face," as that’s how it was listed on mgk's setlist. mgk is likely to release a rap album this year.

mgk was wearing a vintage Limp Bizkit shirt, which he purchased ahead of his April 11 concert in Melbourne at Rod Laver Arena from a private showroom arranged by Faded AU (@faded_au).
