Bhashiva, also called the "Desert Tigress", is the current ruling White Tiger of the Tiger Warriors, a group of Tigermen mercenaries who have sworn service to the Iron Dragon Zhao Ming, the ruler of the Western Provinces of Grand Cathay.

The "White Tiger" is the title and role of a legendary leader among those Tigermen now known as the Tiger Warriors who rejected the worship of Chaos through their sheer nobility, left their homeland in Ind and settled within the borders of Grand Cathay, forming a mercenary force that now serves under the command of the Iron Dragon. The White Tiger is ranked as one of the lords of the city of Shang-Yang, the capital of the Western Provinces.

Like all the White Tigers before her, Bhashiva leads the "Tiger Court", the Tiger Warriors' governing council that is located in Shang-Yang. The White Tiger possesses the magical ability to teleport short distances across a battlefield allowing her to lend her martial prowess to where it is most needed on the field, or to instantly disengage when a fight is going poorly to strike at a more vulnerable point along the line of battle.

Bhashiva is the Desert Tigress, the latest in a long line of White Tigers who have ruled the Tiger Warriors of Grand Cathay's Western Provinces. One of the most feared Lords of Shang-Yang in service to the Iron Dragon Zhao Ming, she is revered amongst her kin as the greatest fighter and leader to have emerged from her people in generations.

Fulfilling duty and destiny, Bhashiva carries forth the tradition of the first White Tiger, who long ago guided the downtrodden Tigermen tribes of the Indic Highlands north-west across the Mountains of Heaven towards a greater purpose. At the end of their journey, in the far-flung desert of Grand Cathay's western frontier, she swore an oath of loyalty to the great power of the Western Provinces: the Iron Dragon, Zhao Ming. Just as it has been for generations, Bhashiva, the latest White Tiger to swear that oath anew, leads the fierce warriors of the Tiger Court in service to their Cathayan Dragon masters.

Gdy jednak przystępujemy do bitwy, starcia z udziałem tysięcy jednostek rozgrywają się w czasie rzeczywistym (choć możemy je również toczyć automatycznie).
