Imagine a room full of people who stutter

Stuttering is not random.
If it were, you would struggle the same way in every situation.
But that is not what happens.
You can speak fluently in a group.
You can struggle when speaking alone.
That difference matters.
Speech is controlled by a feedback loop between your brain, your ears, and your speech muscles.
Speak, hear, adjust.
When that loop changes, your speech changes.
That is why fluency appears in certain conditions and disappears in others.
Not by chance, but because the system is being altered.
If you do not understand this, you keep guessing.
If you do understand it, you can start to take control.
Because when you change the feedback your brain receives, you change the pattern it produces.
And that is where real progress begins.
