Ram Dass interviews Reverend Matthew Fox at 'State of the World Forum'. When Ram Dass was thrown out of Harvard for psychedelics, the world viewed him as a loser, but inside he felt victorious. Matthew Fox became an Episcopal reverend after being thrown out of the Catholic Church, seeking to reinvent the Western Tradition of Christianity. After much personal loss and turmoil, he found himself on a path towards spirituality, away from rigid rules. Although rituals can be an important catalyst for spiritual growth, creativity is an equally important expression of the Divine that resides in all of us.
