The issue with the failed steering column lock actuator affects mainly Audi A6 (C6), A8 (D3), and the first generation Q7 models from Audi, but the VW Passat B6/B7 or the Mercedes C-class W204 are affected as well.
When the steering column lock actuator fails - you won't be able to start your car unless you delete a specific fault code related to this part.
