Cameroun, Ghanaian & Ugandan artists are calling for the ban of Nigerian music

More than 5 Cameroonian top music artists have now joined Ghanaian and Ugandan calling for the boycott of Nigerian music.

I watched a video made by @CY International describing Nigerian music as colonial as many Cameroonian musicians are now beginning to copy and sound like Nigerian artists.

He even threatened violence if any dj should be caught playing Nigerian music 😅

I was shocked and surprised when Respected artists like King Sarkodie, StoneBoy, Shatta Wale were throwing baseless accusations that Nigerian government gave Nigerian artists N10 Million Naira loan with very low interest to grow the industry.

Another shocking revelation was that there is a law in Nigeria which is called 80/20, which means 80% local music and 20% foreign.

They are also calling on the Cameroonian and the Ghanaian government to enact similar laws to protect local content.

Me: I support their patriotism, and all countries should value their culture, but all these lies just to pass a message..? 🤔

Nigerian Artists are only hard working. 🤷🏾‍♂️
