Now where better place to begin than from the beginning, after the legendary actress-singer, Jennifer Lopez calls off her engagement to Alex Rodriguez, she was caught being with the world's known, Batman, Ben Affleck. From three months of dating, from internet rumors to paparazzi to breaking their official relationship on Instagram, how did the nosy public and their exes react to this?
Way back in the year 2001, as two famous and rising Hollywood stars back then, but now most renowned actors, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez first met in the rom-com movie set that was a box-office hit hitting $7.2 million, Gigli.
They started dating in the year 2002 but then broke up two years later after calling off their engagement. Shocking fans around the world, the couple revealed that the break-up was due to overbearing and excessive media attention. But, this summer of 2021, nineteen years after ending their relationship, the two reunite again but this time, they don't care who's watching.
They were spotted in Magic Castle in Los Angeles, together with their kids and reliable sources say it was more than just a summer fling, they were planning their future together, from balancing their career and public life to their kids and romantic relationship.
"Jennifer is the happiest and will never stop saying how amazing Ben has become," the sources stated.
After making their relationship Instagram official during the singer's 52nd birthday through posting a passionate post captioned, "5 2 ... What it do ..." in celebrating her day with the love of her life, friends, and family in a yacht in St. Tropez, France. They partied and had fun like it was 2002 again and even remade a scene from the music video of her hit song, "Jenny From the Block.”
"Jennifer finally found someone who truly loves her for being who she is, and she'll do everything to her limits to make their relationship work and won't fall apart from each other again," an insider disclosed.
Even after their split, JLo never uttered against Ben, whether it be good or bad actually. Now, isn't that romantic? JLo introduced the love of her life to her children, the the13-year-old twins she shared with her then-husband Mark Anthony, Emme, and Max. The reports say that the twins don't feel weird about their mom dating another person and accept Ben with open arms.
And most recently, on the night of June 14th, in a family dinner, some paparazzi spotted and photographed Ben and JLo kissing – well, I guess that proves the point that they’re really in love with their immense display of public affection.
Witnesses say that Ben and the JLo's kids are having a good relationship with each other and said that Ben even keeps an eye for the children to be safe and comfortable. Another source outlet stated that Emme and Max are happy for their mom and are used to other people whether they be strangers or friends, around due to their mom's work.
Jennifer and Ben were planning to take things slow and stable, but she then says that there’s no time to waste because now, she’s fully convinced he's the one she'll spend the rest of her life with. And at some time soon, they would be moving in together.
Just recently though, Ben was found inside a boutique in Tiffany & Co., together with his mom and son, Samuel Garner Affleck. Some sources said, that Jlo and Ben are inseparable, serious, and so into each other. Ben being a lovable person, everyone feels comfortable around him, he's funny and sweet, which catches Jennifer off guard and maybe one of the reasons why she’s heads over heels for him.
Everyone around Jennifer approves of Ben for her because there's nothing to hate about the man. Right now, everything seems perfect, their families are getting along which is great.
