R1200RT: Extended Oil Change Interval

The BMW R1200RT motorcycles have a 6000 mile oil change interval, but what happens when you simply can't get to the oil change in that period? On a recent cross country trip I had to extend the interval to 7000 miles and the ride was also extreme in many ways. In this video I'll take an unscientific look at the oil condition and decide whether an extended interval is damaging or not.
