2019 Yamaha MT 09SP Review, is the SP worth the extra money? Jeff Ware

The Yamaha MT-09 had a major update in 2017, you can find our review on that mode here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubPzI...
The SP version arrived in late 2018 here in Australia and costs around $1734 AUD more. For that you get blue wheels, blue and silver metallic paint and SP graphics, a double blue stitched seat, black handlebar controls and dash, fully adjustable KYB forks (four-way) and a fully adjustable Ohlins shock out the back.
As standard, the MT-09 models feature D Modes A, B, Std for ride modes, traction control (two levels plus off), and ABS, as well as a one-way quickshifter and a slipper clutch.
The punchy triple-cylinder engine is a favourite - and the chassis is an all-rounder great for a daily rider wanting some weekend fun. There is also a lot of scope for customising the MT-09 and the SP would be the one to start with. The MT-09 costs $14,279 + ORC in Australia for 2019. Jeff Ware
