With the computer turned on and the password accepted, the last hurtle that appears before the team is a directory ID. It then becomes a quest of looking through the evidence as well as asking the audience to see if they can help them solve this and provide some answers that maybe they didn't catch or missed from previous encounters. However, once they finally DO hack into this ancient machine, and see what's on it, it becomes of a question of if they even should have looked into this and what their findings mean for their investigations.

After trying a few phrases off the top of their heads, both Matthias and Woods decide that the best course of action would be to go through the evidence they have in the Vault as well as get some outside help from the fans, see if they came across anything that might help.

Once back in the lair of Mega Desk, the two take some time to just let their bodies relax as well as rehydrate with some water(?) before taking the next step.

Once up in the evidence pit, the two try to comb through what they have available to them but fatigue is really starting to set in, considering the day they've gone through.

After admitting that they might be a little too tired to truly piece a clue together logically so they're not wasting time, Matthias and Woods resolve to see if the audience has come up with anything yet instead.

Matthias goes through all the information that the fans managed to dig up, and is rewarded with a possible option for the directory ID that they didn't think of before.
15:27 - Back Into The Darkness -
With the suggested keyword in mind, the team decide to head back to the hidden room under the stairs and see if it indeed works and grants them access to the Apple 2. But first, the lighting must be fixed.

One of the first files that pops up is a block text of listed patients, all with different information on it. Some of said information is redacted but other parts are not and leave a lot of disturbing implications.
21:55 - 'I'm 'Gonna Press B" -
Matthias' curiosity is too great to not continue on, especially after what they just read from the previous file, and so the team continues to the next file almost immediately.

In the first chat log, the team gets their first look at how these people at Syntec might have communicated with each other as well as their attitude towards their so-called "patients".

After reading through the whole chat log, Matthias and Woods take a second to talk about what they just read as well as how it connects to everything thus far.

The very beginning of the next chat log gives an interesting insight on how "D" was communicating with the people around them and their attempts at keeping information secure.

The complete lack of regard for human life is on full display in this chat log, which is unsettling in itself, but a familiar phrases pops its ugly head up again, citing another moment of reflection amongst the team

On the flip side, "D" seems to display a refreshing bit of empathy for the people they're caring for and the contrast between the two is fascinating.

With all this talk about ethically responsible and humane practices, the workings of this company just become sketchier and sketchier by the second.
