We Need To Talk About Aim Assist In Fortnite...

In this video, I talk about the current state of aim assist in Fortnite as well as the most recent patch 12.61 by Epic Games that was supposed to nerf it. Now, for those of you that don't know, Epic tried to nerf aim assist once again in the newest patch. They didn't give us too much information about it, but there were some decent changes that took place. Unfortunately, however, these nerfs were not as good as the ones we expected, making it the second patch in a row where Epic has said they're going to nerf aim assist but it actually became a buff. My goal for the video is not to complain and whine about how overpowered aim assist is and how good controller players are getting. Rather, I want to explain the whole situation from the side of keyboard and mouse players, from Epic's situation, as well as the side of controller players on PC (when I say aim assist I explicitly mean aim assist on PC and not on console like PS4 or Xbox One. My hope is that Epic watches this video, hears me out regarding possible solutions to balance linear and exponential aim assist, and makes the game more balanced for competitive players on PC. So, if you're looking for a rant video on the biggest problem in Fortnite at the moment, aim assist, then this video is definitely for you. On top of that, this video will teach you more about the great aim assist debate that is going on in the Fortnite Battle Royale scene, open your mind to different perspectives such as those from Epic Games or the other side of the input you play on, and help the game become more balanced in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3.
