London's Heathrow airport is the busiest airport in the UK and Europe. Pre-pandemic it handled around 80 million passengers a year. Throughout the last 2 years, with less flying going on, its meant Heathrow could use one runway for all operations, which is rare as its normally at capacity for both its runways.
