Interview with Drummer Faith Kington from the band Charismatic Stranger

It's always a great feeling when a teacher's here about a former student's success. It's like a parent hearing their (child) children passing a difficult test in school. I'm that teacher who Is proud of one of my former students. In 2011 I was working at a music here In Southern California; In came this little girl around 11 or 12 years old who wanted to learn to play drums. She had previous lessons elsewhere but that didn't work out too well. Her favorite genre was Metal Bands like Avenge Sevenfold, Megadeath, and of course Metallica.

After the first lesson I was amazed that she could play with such passion behind the drum kit
as we could continue for several months unfortunately, she had to stop taking lessons as the years passed, I got a text message a few months ago. The message read.

“Hi Corran, this Is Faith your former drum student you'll be happy to know I'm still drumming, I wanted to reach out to you to say Thank You for teaching me the basic fundamentals of drumming at an early age in my drumming career. Since those early days, I have played in 3 bands, I'm gigging, recording, and possible touring. As soon as I know we are playing in.
Orange County I would like to I invite you to our show.
