The Light in Your Eyes

This piece is inspired by Zen philosophy and a personal reframing of ideas shared by Alan Watts — especially the perspective that we are not separate from the universe, but expressions of it.

The lyrics were written by me. The music and vocals were created with AI as a collaborative tool to help bring the vision to life. I have tons of imagination and creativity, but no musical talent, time or money to create the songs I've heard in my head and needed a way to share with others. Thanks to AI, I am finally able to create the music I wanted to hear with my lyrics.

Blending indie-folk warmth with subtle Zen-inspired textures, the song lives between spoken-word and melody. Plucked shamisen and acoustic elements create a steady, unhurried rhythm, while close male vocals and soft female harmonies drift in and out like passing thoughts.

At its core, this track is about awareness — about noticing the infinite inside ordinary moments. Even something as simple as a paper cup can become a doorway when you look closely enough.

No dramatic climax. No grand conclusion. Just a quiet shift in perception.
