How to Handle Criticism About Your Parenting 👶🗣️

As a stepparent (and to all parents out there), I’ve noticed something… there’s never a shortage of people ready to tell me what I’m doing wrong. Funny how no one ever points out what I’m doing right! 🤷‍♀️

And when someone criticises your child, it can feel like they’re criticising you too. Parenting is personal—it’s built on values and beliefs—so when those are questioned, it can feel like a direct challenge.

✨ My top tip? Have a strategy:

✔️ Stop the conversation if it’s not helpful.
✔️ Step away if you need space.
✔️ Stay calm and respond, rather than react.
