The pandemic accelerated the shift from offline to online a decade ago, coinciding with the emergence of social platforms and mobile-first enterprises. Today, we are on the cusp of the next technology paradigm shift: the metaverse. The metaverse was primarily associated with the gaming industry. Recently, there has been some interest in its application in the workplace. New immersive forms of team collaboration, the emergence of new digital, AI-enabled coworkers, and the acceleration of learning and skills acquisition through virtualization and gamified technologies are significant ways in which the metaverse appears to reshape the world of work.

Thought leaders and industry experts from different industries are invited to these sessions as guest speakers to impart their knowledge and experience to the participants. These sessions are open to all those who register for these webinars in order to learn and seek guidance from our esteemed guests.

Dr. Sairaj M. Patki, Faculty of Psychology, FLAME University, who holds a PhD in Psychology from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, will be the instructor for the course. He has over 10 years of teaching experience, including undergraduate and postgraduate courses at various colleges in Pune. He teaches abnormal psychology and experimental psychology. He is a certified Emotional Intelligence Trainer and has conducted numerous workshops for schools, colleges, and organizations, including Reliance Industries, CID Office, Bajaj Auto, the Modern Institute of Business Management, MIT Shillong, and the Pune People’s Co-op Bank. Prof. Patki's research interests include the psychological effects of social media and artificial intelligence, emotional intelligence, and organizational citizenship behavior. He has guided over 20 postgraduate research dissertations and has been a research consultant to the Shantilal Muttha Foundation, NEALife, and individual masters and doctoral students.
