When it comes to the inclusion of social or political agendas in games, television and movies... there is a right, and a wrong way to go about swaying viewer opinion.

If the goal is to present new information and perspectives with the effect of expanding consumer horizons... the agenda and underlying message must be crafted in such a way as to enhance the surrounding narrative. However, when the content as a whole is reduced to a bludgeon, used to shame viewers and degrade them... there is an inverse effect to what is intended, or desired.
