12-14-2021 Soda Springs, Ca Extreme snowfall and winds shut down I-80

Heavy snow, high winds from Atmospheric River causes I-80 to be shut down in both directions. Shots of traffic backed up on I-80 East near Kingvale, Ca where high tension power lines have fallen across the interstate blocking both East bound lanes.

Car stuck in heavy snow, with near hurricane force wind gusts blowing snow along the ground bringing white out conditions. Snow plows continue to try and keep up with snowfall rates exceeding 5" per hour at times. With at least another 24 hours of moderate to heavy snow continuing.
