Clearwater Beach to Fort DeSoto Park: Hiking 32 Miles In One Day During Covid-19 Pandemic!

On June 28th, 2020 my best friend and I traveled from North Clearwater Beach to St. Petersburg beach for a total of 23 miles before we threw in the towel. This was also during the height of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Our goal was to hike from northern Clearwater Beach all the way past the Don Cesar and ultimately into Fort DeSoto Park for a total of 32 miles. The journey took us almost 12 hours and we had to take multiple breaks.
