What is Stop Motion?

Stop motion is a way of animation which makes it look like still objects are moving. Clay animation is a good example of how stop motion is used. Stop-motion requires any camera that can make single frames (or photos). It works by shooting a single frame, moving the object a little bit, and capturing a frame again.

The Characters:

Rey

Rey was a scavenger and Force prodigy who discovered her latent Force-sensitivity while on a journey to find the legendary Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and bring a new hope to a galaxy on the brink of war. Rey grew up alone in the desert wastes of Jakku, longing for her family to return, until she met BB-8, who carried information about Skywalker's whereabouts.

Kylo Ren

Kylo Ren, a human male, was a Force warrior and a former Jedi trainee under his uncle, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, before Ren destroyed Skywalker's attempt to restore the Jedi Order and became an apprentice of Supreme Leader Snoke of the First Order.

Finn

Finn fought for the Resistance during their war against the First Order, which he previously served in as a stormtrooper prior to defecting. He was considered one of the best stormtroopers of the FN Corps, where he was designated FN-2187, prior to deserting with the help of Commander Poe Dameron of the Resistance. Finn reluctantly became involved with BB-8, Rey, Han Solo, and Chewbacca as they made their way to the Resistance base on D'Qar so BB-8 could provide General Leia Organa with a map to her brother, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker.

BB-8

BB-8 was a BB-series astromech droid who operated approximately thirty years after the Battle of Endor. It had a dome head, similar to that of R2 series astromech droids, with the bulk of its body made up of a ball on which the droid's head rolled.
