Fundamentals of Marx: A Theory of Transitions

Is Marx's theory of history linear or deterministic? How do transitions between modes of production actually occur according to Marx and what can that tell us about the dynamics at play in transhistorical development?
In this episode we dive into a close reading of several passages from Marx which suggest that his theory of transitions is not linear but rather complex and heterogeneous.
