Fukushima sake brewery revives Japanese fishing town

For two centuries, the Iwaki Kotobuki Sake Brewery in the Japanese town of Namie was well known to local fishermen. But its sake master Daisuke Suzuki lost the family business during the 2011 Fukushima earthquake and tsunami disasters. Since rebuilding the brewery in his hometown, Suzuki has been helping the local fishing industry get back on its feet, which has been hit more recently by the Chinese ban on Japanese seafood following the release of treated water from the Fukushima nuclear plant.
