*about the “check description box” text in the video*
as you may know, recently there has been news going around about treasure culturally appropriating different cultures in their recent tmap episode. I just wanted to note that this vlog (featuring treasure videos/songs) was filmed way before the tmap episode was released and I, in no way, support what had happened in that tmap episode. although I have not seen the part of the video myself as the clip was taken down after, I only found out through the messages you guys have sent me which I am very grateful that I was informed about this! I really hope yg or treasure themselves will come out with an apology, although it could be argued that treasure was not involved in wearing the culturally appropriating costumes, seeing a part of the video made me realise that some of the treasure members’ comments and actions were quite offensive. If you did feel offended by their actions, I just want to say that you’re feelings really matter and you have the absolute right to feel the way you did with their actions. I really hope treasure and the staff members will educate themselves on this situation and I will avoid showing treasure videos/songs in the meantime hoping they can come out with an apology. also, rather than spreading hate and hurtful words, lets try to understand and educate🤍
