Hope Cross (Sir Ernest Shackleton) Returns to Dundee - Shackleton Technologies

Shackleton Technologies had the privilege of joining Dundee Heritage Trust, their partners, communities, and visitors from around the globe to honour the remarkable achievements of Sir Ernest Shackleton. The highlight of the celebration was the unveiling of The Hope Cross, a memorial originally erected in South Georgia by crew members in tribute to “The Boss” (Shackleton).

Thanks to Dundee Heritage Trust and their partners, this historic piece can now be admired at Discovery Point in #Dundee. Through their close collaboration with Dundee Heritage Trust, Shackleton Technologies was fortunate to contribute to this incredible event and was honoured to support the rededication meal for the surviving relatives of past crew members and Sir Ernest Shackleton, represented by his granddaughter, The Honourable Alexandra Shackleton.

It was a joy to be part of this event. The stories shared and the pride felt were truly special.
