Enjoy some laughs this season with three classic Holiday-themed episodes from the legendary radio series: The Jack Benny Program!

Year/Synopsis:
1944: Jack and Mary trim the tree at his house on Christmas Eve, with shocking results. Towards the program’s end, Jack gives a special Holiday message to the troops overseas. Finally, Larry sings an amazing Christmas medley.
1949: Jack and Mary try once again to fix the lights on Jack’s tree, with similar results. Then, Jack and Mary sing a cute version of ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’. Next, Jack’s Barbershop Quartet, the Sportsmen, sing a fun Christmas song called ‘Yule Train’. Finally, Dennis sings a beautiful ‘Ava Maria’.
1951: Jack and Rochester trim Jack’s tree a few days before Christmas. When Mary comes over, Jack tries to kiss her. This time, the Sportsmen sing a rousing ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’. Next, Beloved recurring character Mr. Kitzel stops by. Finally, Dennis sings a lovely Christmas medley. (There is a bit of background hum on this one, but it was reduced as much as possible.)

Special guest: Comedic actor Andy Devine, who voiced Friar Tuck in Disney’s ‘Robin Hood’.
Note: Phil Harris also voiced a character in Disney’s ‘Robin Hood’, the lovable Little John. He also voiced the iconic Baloo the Bear in Disney’s ‘Jungle Book’.

Eddie Anderson – The famed comedian plays Jack’s long-suffering valet, Rochester.
Dennis Day – The youthful and dim-witted singing star of the show.
Phil Harris - Jack’s hard-drinking, egotistical, band-leader with a heart of gold.
Don Wilson – The patient, rotund, and belittled announcer of the show.
Larry Stevens – Singer that filled-in for Dennis when the later enlisted in World War 2.
