Manchester Arena Survivor Reveals He's Still Suffering Every Day After Losing Partner In Attack| GMB

Five years on, Paul Price is still suffering every day as a result of Manchester Arena bombing. The pain is both physical and emotional. He still requires surgery as a result of the leg injuries he suffered in the blast, and he still grieves every day for his partner Elaine McIver who was among the 22 killed by suicide bomber Salman Abedi. Paul Price features in a new ITV documentary to mark the fifth anniversary of the terror attack on 22 May 2017. It addresses many of the failings which have been exposed since the night Abedi, a homegrown terrorist, walked into the foyer outside Manchester Arena and detonated a bomb as people – many of them children – were leaving an Ariana Grande concert. The documentary includes the findings of the Manchester Arena Bombing inquiry that British Transport Police officers on duty failed to stagger breaks and took longer than they were permitted to, meaning none were outside the venue during a key period before the attack.
