Restoring, Repairing and Rebuilding an Old Desk

This old oak desk was made in 1973 and needed an update. I made it smaller by cutting down the top eliminating one of the banks of drawers and building a new set of legs. Some of the drawers and drawer guides needed repair and replacement as well and of course I replaced the hardware. Finally, I stripped off the old finish, sanded a little and re-stained it and sprayed on a lacquer finish.
