Bowl?? Platter?? You Decide! Wood Turning

Viewer Kamie sent this piece of White Oak to us just to see what it could become. It became this beautiful Bowl! Or, Platter? Or, well, something useful, anyway. I made good use of my 5/8" bowl gouge as the only tool needed for this piece, other than my 1 1/2" negative rake scraper and my 2" sanding disks. Finished in shellac based sanding sealer and shellac.
