Part 2 of the Bulb Story focusses on the growing season and harvest of lily bulbs. During the summer months the crop is topped before they come in to full bloom. Crop protection also has to be carried out regularly. From October and November onwards the harvest takes place. A heavily modified Amac ZM2 potato harvester is used.

We also follow how the bulbs are further processed. This means being washed, graded, dried and prepared for the customers across the globe.
