Harper Cruise Aug 25th 2021 in 66 Galaxie bought it two years ago now

This video is the Harper Cruise in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. It was a pleasant 93ºF with plenty of humidity when I left with bright sun. I left at 4pm with the top up. I headed home close to 9:30 in the evening, it was still in the mid 80's F, so I put the top down for the ride home.

Two years ago on the day of the Harper Cruise is when I purchased the 66 Galaxie 500. I picked the seller up at the cruise.... I already looked at the car, and had a purchase agreement.... we drove in my 59 Bel Air to his mom's house, where the Galaxie was stashed in the backyard garage, and did the transaction. He was kind enough to let me leave the Galaxie there for an additional week, so I could put the Bel Air in my dad's garage in Romeo, to free up my garage for the Galaxie project.

I did call Jaime.... the guy I bought the Galaxie from, why at the cruise. I was at a private party on Harper, two blocks from where he usually hangs out for the cruise. I did call him, left a voice mail, but didn't see him. I even walked up to where he stated he always hangs out during the cruise, and didn't see him. I would have taken him for a ride, had he been there.
