My Ultimate Experience, the Everest Base Camp Trek

Doing the Everest Base Camp Trek has always been my dream. This trek to Everest was a very important journey for me as I did it in honor of a very dear friend who passed away to cancer; we always wanted to do visit Mount Everest by trekking to base camp together, but never go the chance. This journey to Everest base camp was very emotional for me.

Although the trek to Everest base camp, also known as ECC Trek, is somewhat crowded, in my humble opinion, it is one of the most incredible experiences anyone can have. Trekking to Everest is a life-changing experience. For twelve days, you are surrounded by the highest mountains in the world. Nepal and its people are wonderful, they are friendly and welcoming. Just as climbing Everest, or any of the other peaks like Manaslu, Anapurna, etc., trekking the EBC contributes to the local economy which is so very important for Nepal.
