ROMANIA'S Underground Amusement Park Transylvania (Salina Turda) Salt Mine Romania

Salina Turda is an underground amusement park located in Transylvania just outside the city of Cluj-Napoca. This is an abandoned Salt Mine that has been turned into an amusement park for everyone to enjoy and is definitely one of the most popular tourist attractions in Romania. The Salina Turda Salt mine came about as early as 1075 and was then operational till 1932. We took a day trip from leaving Cluj-Napoca by bus and arriving in the town of Turda. It was a bit of a journey to get there but what an amazing site deep underground. After the long journey there and back did we find public transportation to the mines worth our time?
