STEINWAY'S LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD - Roger Williams

On January 20, 1996, Roger Williams became the first pianist that Steinway & Son's honored with their "Lifetime Achievement Award".
Henry Z. Steinway stated, "Steinway & Sons was so pleased with its relationship with Roger Williams for so many years, that they decided to present him with a 'Lifetime Achievement Award'. And this was done at a meeting of the music industry in January 1996 to recognize this wonderful man, his special talent, and what he has done for the music world and piano."
