The Dominican Republic is one of the safest places you can travel to right now. One, the weather is warm year round, which means plenty of outdoor activities where you can socially distance. Also, there is random Covid testing when you arrive. Yes, they will check random people when they arrive at the airport. Additionally, if you do contract COVID, the DR will offer free healthcare at no cost to you. And lastly, the DR will organize any testing required by the USA for all people returning to the states per CDC regulations.
