MK5 Golf GTI Exhaust Shootout: Standard Cat VS Sportcat VS Decat

This beautiful Golf GTI was with us previously when we fitted a 3" 304 stainless steel turboback exhaust system with two silencer boxes. All custom made in house.
The customer returned to us for some more exhaust work and this gave us the opportunity to compare 'cats'
First up is the standard Volkswagon catalytic converter.
We then switched over to a SportsCat.
Finally the straight through unrestricted decat was fitted.

All videos where taken with the 3" turboback system fitted. We have done our best to place the cameras in similar positions each time to try and get a feel for the correct noise.
