SPOILER: We found our new Seoul apartment in this video!!!!

We toured 4 different apartments in Seoul recently, and actually put a deposit down on one already!!! We're very excited.

Rent in Seoul has really skyrocketed recently, but there is a a special kind of loan that we applied for. The loan is meant expressly to keep young couples in Seoul, since so many young people are moving OUT of the city and commuting in to take advantage of cheaper rents. I really don't know much about the loan itself, apart from the paperwork I need to submit proving that, as a foreigner, I at least have a legit visa and paying job.

I feel like not a ton of other people actually know about this loan (especially all you other foreigners in Korea!!) so I'm hoping Andy can sit down and talk more about it later, since he's obviously been handling all the details and bank communication.

We do love living in Seoul, and the apartment we found is actually in a neighborhood we're already very familiar with, so we feel super lucky!!!!
