Why bother praying to saints when you can go to Jesus Christ directly?
Praying to saints has been a mainstream part of the Christian faith for over 2,000 years, yet for many it raises a lot of questions. In this video, Fr. Peter Kavanaugh will explain the biblical and Christ-centered meaning behind this tradition. We ask the saints to pray for us in the same way we ask one another for prayers. Our God is not the God of the dead but of the living (Mark 12:27). In Jesus Christ, nothing separates us (Romans 8:38), we are all alive and one.
