Daggerfall Unity is an incredibly ambitious fan project to revive the 1996 classic RPG in the Unity engine and fix tons of its more glaring flaws while maintaining the retro RPG vibe. It's already fully playable and manages to do an excellent job of making things work as intended and work nicely on modern systems. It still feels like Daggerfall, but it's easier to play and not so full of bugs. Going back to play such an interesting RPG is always nice but having a better way to experience it is even nicer. All the fixes, additions, and open-source modding support make it a no-brainer to check out, passionate fans can make the coolest stuff.
