INGREDIENTS
Brown Rice – 1 ½ cup
Grated coconut – 2 cups
Palm jaggery – ½ cup
Sugarcane jaggery - ½ cup
Salt – ¼ tsp
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Sugar – 1 tsp

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1:
Dry roast brown rice on low flame for 8 to 10 minutes. once colour started changing switch off the gas and transfer the roasted brown rice in a plate and allow to cool down completely. After that transfer in grinder jar and make a fine powder. remove ground brown rice powder in a bowl and keep aside. same mixer grinder jar adds grated coconut and grind coarsely. Transfer in a bowl and keep aside.

Step 2:
In a pan, add palm and sugarcane jaggery on low flame, mix well and allow to melt completely. Add ground grated coconut, salt as per taste, cardamom powder and sugar. Combine and mix on low flame for 2 to 3 minutes. once all ingredients combined well. switch off the gas and transfer it in a plate, spread mixture in the plate. once it’s become in normal temperature. Then take a small portion of this dough. And make a round ball shape without any crack then take a flat plate and by rolling in the plate give a cylindrical shape (as shown in video) or any shape you like.

Store in an air tight container and enjoy pinagr as a tea time snack or anytime if craving for sweets. This is a healthier and easiest tea time snack. Must try recipe.
