Lawn Mower Almost Runs Over Fawn! 🦌

Our property includes an acre of oaks and pines that a lot of deer use, and a number of fawns were born there in the last couple of months. Today I was mowing for fire prevention, and happened to be testing a camera mounted on the mower to see how much vibration it would record. The camera captured my close call with a fawn hiding in the grass. As it ran away, the fawn let out a loud "MEEP" that I could hear over the mower noise and through my earplugs, yet for some reason her cry isn't audible on the video. Less than a minute earlier I had mowed more to the left within about three feet of the fawn, but she stayed frozen in the grass and I didn't spot her.
