Troldhaugen: Inside Grieg's summer home

Filmed in winter, January 2018.
Edvard Grieg spent the last 22 years of his life here in the summers (for health reasons). His 1892 Steinway inside the villa is still there, sometimes used for private concerts. Grieg also composed on another piano inside the little red shack down by the lake. Edvard & his wife Nina are buried in the side of the hill with a stone marker. A museum, gift shop and concert hall (Troldsalen) were also built on the property which you can visit.
