With no claims to being exhaustive, we will nonetheless look at the various cinema industries in Asia through their geography and their corpus by seeking out their creators in their countries and their towns. Beyond the mere discovery of genre cinemas, we are going to meet filmmakers and plunge into their original works as part and parcel of their cultures, their history and their environments.
