Saving this senior in memory of Gus

🚨 Donations urgently needed for the newest incoming member of the Crusty Crew 🚨 **PLEASE SHARE**

We received an urgent plea for help from the Coachella campus for this 10 year old senior girl with some pretty serious skin issues that needs further vet care than the shelter can provide.

In memory of Gus, who also was also a Riverside County shelter survivor we have committed to save her life.

We are scheduled to pick her up on Thursday May 8th which means we have today to raise funds towards medical care & we need your help!!!

We don't yet have a name for her (shelter lists her as Gemini but we will be choosing a more suitable name).

She will be going to medical boarding to get her skin issues addressed as well as whatever other medical issues are needed & donations are desperately needed to do this.

Ihope you are doing well. am reaching out on behalf ofGemini She is 10years old and she hasapretty serious skin infection. More detailed medical notes are below. Talso included two short videos ofher.She is super friendly, but needs rescue for further workups!

Medical notes: Multifocal alopecia with marked crusts and areas of skin thickening - differentials nclude Scabies/Demodex, pyoderma, severe untreated skin allergies, autoimmune skin disease, or a combination thereof.
Credelio administered as parasite preventative in case of mites. Rx Cephalexin 37.5mg PO BID x 10 days for possible secondary bacterial pyoderma. Recommend applying Douxo mousse to the most affected skin areas 3x/week. Gabapentin 20mg PO BID x 10 days for pain/discomfort and to provide mild sedation. Feed wet food/gruel only.
