2023 Library of Congress National Recording Registry
The 2023 Library of Congress National Recording Registry features 25 recordings that have been designated as significant for the nation’s audio history. This sizzle reel features interviews with inductees Mariah Carey, the Eurythmics, Jimmy Buffett, Graham Nash and Pulitzer Prize-winning composed Ellen Taaffe Zwilich. Recording entries include “All I Want for Christmas is You,” “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This),” “Margaritaville,” “Stairway to Heaven,” “Gasolina,” “Imagine” and Carl Sagan’s book recording of “Pale Blue Dot: A Vision of the Human Future in Space.”
