Lyrid Meteor Shower - 23 April Morning #LyridMeteor #Meteor #Timelapse
As a Timelapse photographer, I am always on the lookout for the next opportunity to capture something truly special. So when my friends told me about the Lyrids Meteor, an annual meteor shower that occurs in April, I immediately started planning my trip. I wanted to make sure I would be in the perfect spot to capture the meteor shower at its peak, so I decided to arrive two days early, giving me plenty of time to set up and get comfortable before the big event.
Over the next two days, I scouted out the perfect location to shoot the meteor shower. It needed to be dark enough to capture the full beauty of the meteors, yet close enough to town to be safe and accessible. Finally, the night of the meteor shower arrived. I packed my blanket and some food, making sure I had everything I needed for a long night of shooting. I drove out to my chosen location, set up my camera, and settled in for the long haul.
As the night progressed, I was transfixed by the beauty of the meteor shower. Each shooting star seemed to light up the sky, casting an ethereal glow over the mountains. Despite the long, cold night, I was filled with a sense of excitement and wonder. I knew that the timelapse I captured would be the most beautiful and meaningful of my career.
As the sun began to rise over the mountains, I packed up my gear and made my way back to town. Exhausted but elated, I knew that this was an experience I would never forget.
I shot this timelapse on sony a7ii, 28-70
Exif - shutter- 20s, ISO 3200, 28mm, Aperture f/3.5
