Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed this animatic! Unfortunately, I have a confession to make..

The scene at 0:32 with the super well drawn tree was actually traced by me. The original artist is Michatah#8675; she is the background artist for My Pride, so please show your support towards her and her amazing drawings!! 💕

“Why did you trace?” I don’t have any experience with drawing trees at all (which is something I’ll improve on), and since the scene was important to the animatic, I wanted the tree to look as proportional as possible.

The last time I traced was when I was 8; it was when I was drawing a pony and wanted to practice. I never posted it on the internet or anything like that, it was simply a practice drawing. I since then grew as an artist when it came to animals, and I hope that the same goes towards trees and backgrounds. I’m very sorry to have disappointed anyone.

I started to work on this animatic in about.. middle/late November? I’m not sure but it was before episode 8 aired. I finished the characters and colors and then took a month off due to school and other projects! Then I began to work on the background, and it took me about a week.

Also yes! Today is my birthday! 💃✨
I decided to finish and post this on my birthday as a little gift from me to you!
