In this video, I explore the rhythmic depth of one of the greatest classics of Brazilian music: "Lamento Sertanejo," by the master Dominguinhos with lyrics by Gilberto Gil. The challenge here is to follow the organic balance of the accordion, bass, keyboard, guitar, and vocals, bringing the Northeastern accent to the drums, transitioning between the cadence of the Xote and the energy of the Baião.
