How To Rebuild A Rotor Shaft
Today I head into the machine shop where I will be building a new shaft for the rotor on the Krone big pack baler. I am not a machinist but I can get the job done and get the baler back up and running. The lath I am using is about 100 years old and it is worn pretty badly but it does work. I weld the shaft to the mounting plate and then to the rotor so it can be put back into the baler so we can get back to work.
