If you are a hairstylist or are in cosmetology school, you may have been asked if you want to be a business owner one day. Some of you may say “I could NEVER be a business owner” and others may even say “maybe one day!” You may not know, though, that no matter where you are in your career, you are a business owner.

You may be thinking, “I’m just in hair school, I’m not a business owner!” Or you may be working at a commission salon and be thinking the same thing. I’ve talked with so many hairstylists and so often I hear, “Oh, I could NEVER be a business owner” and they have no idea that just by being behind the chair, they already are!

I’ve been wanting to create this video for you all for so long because I think this is such an important part in our careers that often gets overlooked because it doesn’t resonate with so many of us.
